Plane lands on top of another plane

Here's some nice video footage for you of what I guess you could call a "runway incursion" when a Piper Cherokee landed right on top of a Stinson 108 at the Northwest Regional Airport in Roanoke, TX yesterday. Miraculously, no one was injured. What's that old saying about a low-wing and a high-wing not being able to see each other. It's no wonder that this is not the first time this kind of thing has happened.

It is also a great testament to the ruggedness of the Stinson!!! Lee W. Palm Beach

I fly out of that airport. The trees totally obscure the final approach path. For that reason, anybody who flies out of there without a radio is an idiot. For that reason also, I wait the number of minutes it would take for a NORDO aircraft to fly the entire final approach path before I will take the runway, just in case some dork is trying to hide from me.

There is nothing wrong with people flying classic airplane with out radios. I fly a 1946 Aeronca chief it dosent have an electrical system and there for no radio and i am not an idiot. that is very arogant and cocky to talk down about other people. i have grown up at that airport and fly there offten.
